Resilionics Privacy Policy

Version 1.0. Effective October 1, 2026.

1. Who we are and what this covers

Resilionics LLC ("Resilionics", "we", "us"), PO Box 16234, Jacksonville, FL 32245, builds software for Florida tax collectors, clerks and other local governments: APEX (property tax), TOUREX (tourist development tax), LIENEX (tax certificate auctions), REVEX (business tax), AGENTEX (public help assistant) and the Resilionics Support system.

This policy covers two things:

  • this website, www.resilionics.com; and
  • the text messages (SMS) Resilionics sends from its products, described in section 6.

It does not cover the products themselves. Each product portal has its own privacy policy, posted on that portal, and the county or agency that uses the product controls its records under Florida law. Section 7 explains that in more detail.

2. What this website collects

  • Contact form and e-mail. If you send us a message through the contact form or by e-mail, we collect what you give us: your name, e-mail address, the county or organization you are with, the products you are interested in, and your message.
  • News and updates. If you ask to receive news and updates from us, by signing up on the site or ticking the box on the contact form, we collect the e-mail address you give us.
  • Technical data. Like every website, ours receives your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. Our hosting provider uses this to run and protect the site and to give us visit counts.
  • Cookies. See section 4.

The site has no online store and takes no payments. It does not ask for Social Security numbers, account numbers or other sensitive information, and you should never send them to us through it.

3. How we use it

We use what the website collects to reply to you and follow up on your inquiry, to send you the news you asked for, and to run, protect and improve the site. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising.

4. Cookies and similar tools

The website is hosted on Squarespace, which sets a small number of cookies to keep the site secure (for example, to protect its forms from forgery) and to count visits. Forms on the site are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which receives your IP address and device information to tell people from automated programs. We set no advertising cookies and do no cross-site tracking. You can block cookies in your browser; the site still works, but forms may not submit.

5. Who else sees your data

We share website data only with providers that do a job for us:

  • Squarespace, which hosts the website and runs its forms.
  • Google, which provides reCAPTCHA on our forms and the e-mail service we reply from.
  • The e-mail service we use to send news and updates, which holds the addresses on our mailing list.

Each provider may use the data only to provide its service to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

6. Text messages (SMS)

Resilionics sends text messages from its products to people who have asked for them. Each message starts with the name of the product it comes from, for example "TOUREX:", "APEX:", "LIENEX:", "REVEX:" or "Resilionics Support:".

What we send. Depending on the product and the choices you made, texts may include:

  • one-time security codes when you sign in or verify your phone number;
  • account notifications, such as confirmations, reminders and status changes for filings, payments, deposits or support tickets;
  • for staff of our customers, notifications about the work they are assigned.

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Consent. We text you only if you opted in: by checking the text-message box and entering your mobile number in a product, or by replying to a text we sent you to confirm. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase, of using our products, or of doing business with any county or agency. Every product offers e-mail as an alternative.

Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies with your account activity. Message and data rates may apply; check with your mobile carrier.

Stopping and help. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that number. You will receive one final message confirming you have opted out, and nothing more. Reply HELP for help, or e-mail support@resilionics.com. Products that use text-message sign-in codes will offer e-mail codes instead once you opt out.

Your number and opt-in data. We will not share your mobile opt-in data or phone number with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Your number and your opt-in and opt-out choices are shared only with the messaging providers that deliver our texts (Amazon Web Services and Twilio), which may use them only to deliver the messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Records. We keep a record of when and how you opted in or out, so that we can prove your choice and honor it.

7. Our products and county records

Our products process records that belong to the counties and agencies that use them, under contracts with those customers and under Florida law, including the public records law (chapter 119, Florida Statutes). Each product portal posts its own privacy policy and terms of use, which describe what that portal collects and how the county's records are handled. If you have a question about a tax bill, filing, payment or other county matter, contact the county or agency directly.

8. Security

We protect data with encryption in transit and at rest, and by limiting who can reach it and what they can see. No method of protection is perfect. If a breach of security affects your personal information, we will notify you and our customers as the law requires, including section 501.171, Florida Statutes, where it applies.

9. Retention

We keep mailing-list addresses until you unsubscribe. We keep contact-form messages and e-mail correspondence for as long as we need them to deal with your request and for our records. Text-message consent records are kept for as long as we send you texts and for a period afterward so that we can prove your choice. Website technical logs are kept only as long as our hosting provider needs them to run and protect the site.

10. Your choices

  • News and updates. Every message we send has an unsubscribe link, or e-mail privacy@resilionics.com.
  • Text messages. Reply STOP at any time.
  • Your information. To see, correct or delete the information this website holds about you, e-mail privacy@resilionics.com. For information held in a product, contact the county or agency, or use the product's own account settings.

11. Children

This website and our text messages are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us at privacy@resilionics.com.

12. Changes and contact

We may change this policy. When we do, we will post the new version here with a new version number and effective date.

Resilionics Text Message Terms

These terms govern text messages (SMS) sent by Resilionics LLC from its products: APEX, TOUREX, LIENEX, REVEX and Resilionics Support. Each message starts with the product name.

  1. Program. Resilionics sends one-time security codes, account notifications (confirmations, reminders and status changes for filings, payments, deposits and support tickets) and, to staff of our customers, work notifications. We send no marketing texts.
